    Planning week visit Jan 2011 celebrating my 40th birthday. 6 adults 2 kids(7&5). Need input on our 2 choices. Should we stay in a 2 room villa at Bay Lake Towers at the Contemporary (leaning towards this) or get close rooms at the Polynesian?

    Hi Michele! Both resorts are wonderful and it does make it a tough choice.

    Bay Lake Towers is the newest resort complex at Disney and it has gotten rave reviews from those staying there.  I think the biggest benefit for staying there is the fact you will have some kitchen facilities and laundry machines. It is a great way to save a little money especially on snacks and breakfast. Our family likes to be together on vacations and when you start having separate rooms people tend to go off on their own instead of staying together and visiting. Of course if you prefer more privacy then the separate rooms are the way to go!
