Hi we are planning a 2 week vacation and then meeting the kids, but we are not sure when next school year starts. How hard is it to change dates if need to once school schedule comes out? We want to lock in room and start paying now. Is there a penalty?

    Hi Teresa,

Planning can be difficult ahead of time. Fortunately, in 2016 you have until 30 days before your check-in date to make changes without a penalty! There is also a "change reservation" option online now. One of my fellow panelists just used this feature to add a discount code to a future reservation. I know some people feel more comfortable calling to make changes to a reservation, but I love the option to do it yourself online.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let us know if we can help you with any other questions!

Wishing you happy planning and a magical vacation,
    Amy H
