We are planning a week trip to WDW in July. We will have two adults and three teen girls (17, 16, 14). We DO want the dining option and park hopper tickets. We will not have a car. Which resort is most appropriate for independent teenagers?

Hi, I would recommend Disney'sBoardwalk Inn and Villa's.  The Resort is a happening place, aside from many different eateries, there is much activity in the evenings, the whole resort is a backdrop to a 1930's time.  There's a place called the Belle Vue Room just off the Lobby of the Resort, that has sofa's, chairs, tables, and bookshelves full of boardgames, like Monopoly, and other Parker Brothers Games. There is a swimming pool, that is based off of the 1920's amusement park Luna Park, there is a 200 foot water slide, called the Keister Coaster, and it lives up to its name!!!  Transportation to and from the Boardwalk there are Ferries that run to and from Epcot, and Hollywood Studios, and if you take the Ferry to Epcot, you could catch the Monorail to Magic Kingdom.  Therefore, potentially, you could cut the bus transportation to just going to Downtown Disney, the Water Parks, and Animal Kingdom.  Have a great trip!!
