    Planning week trip in June 2012, looking to stay at POR the new Royal theme room. Do you know which would be the closest room number or bldg number to request to Old Man river pool ? Would that also be same for closest to food court etc. Thanks!

    Hi Anita!

         I'll be there in June 2012 as well - Woo Hoo!  The new Royal Themed Rooms are going to be in both the Oak Manor and Parterre Place Buildings.  Oak Manor happens to be the closest choice to both the food court area and the Ol Man Island pool complex.  While it is also the most expensive choice, the River View rooms are typically the shortest walk to everything.  Unlike the rooms in the Alligator Bayou area, this section of Port Orleans Riverside is grouped by room view, rather than location.  I am sooo excited to see these new fabulous rooms and they should be just perfect for your "royal family" as well!
