Hi Lindsay,
Thank you so much for coming to planDisney with your question. I am happy to help you plan out your days and
tickets for your trip to Walt Disney World!
It sounds like you have included the
Water Parks and Sports Option on your theme park tickets. The short answer to your question is that you do not have to use your water park and sports options on the same days that you use your theme park visits. This is a great perk! You can spread out your visits and follow a day at a theme park with a day at a water park. My family absolutely loves a day at a Disney Water Park. Our tip is to head to the water park early in the day and do all of the attractions that you want to in the early hours, when there are fewer guests in the park. Then, in the afternoon, we relax on our lounge chairs or in the wave pool. It is a great way to spend a Florida day!
The Water Park and Sports Option offers visits to the
Disney Water Parks as well as some sports-related venues at Walt Disney World including some of the golf and miniature golf locations. You should also know that while you do not have to use your water park or sports options on the same day as a theme park visit, you can if you wish to do so. For instance, you could play a round of miniature golf at
Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf before heading into
EPCOT one day. This offers lots of flexibility in how you schedule your time at Walt Disney World.
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Lindsay! Please feel free to come back to planDisney if you have any further questions while planning your magical vacation.
