Hi There! We are planning a WDW vacation for Sept 2015 but we would rather not visit when the Halloween decorations are up. Normally, when do they start decorating for Halloween? Thanks!

    Hi Pat,

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question. The dates for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party have not been officially announced yet, but historically, this special event begins in the second week of September. I can't guarantee that this will be the case this year or for 2015, but that has been the trend.

I would suggest going in the first week in September. Keep in mind that they may begin putting up some of the decorations sometime that week in anticipation of the event. I will add that these are really fun decorations and could add a lot of extra special magic to your family vacation.

Have a wonderful time planning and be sure to stop by with more planning questions as they come up.
