I am planning our 1st WDW vacation in October from the 13-19th. My parents, brother and sil are going with us, so there will be 7 total. Would the 2br villa @ Bay Lake towers be big enough? And when are the dates for MNSSHP and park hours for Oct released?

    Hi Sarah!

Bay Lake Tower is a fabulous place to stay for your first trip to Walt Disney World.  Depending on the exact sleeping arrangements, a 2 bedroom Deluxe Villa will be more than enough; it has a lot of space!

Park hours are generally released about 6 months in advance, so check back later on in the year for the hours for October.  The dates for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party should be released in late Spring or early Summer.  Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is my favorite hard ticketed event at Walt Disney World.  Trick or treating in the Magic Kingdom is a lot of fun!

By the way, since it is your first visit, I highly recommend picking up the book "The Complete Walt Disney World" by Julie and Mike Neal.  It is a great book for first time visitors as it is full of information without being overwhelming.  It is also a beautiful book full of fabulous color photographs.  It will give you a good feel of everything there is to do at Walt Disney World!

Enjoy planning your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and write back with more questions!
