We are planning a WDW vacation in Nov. Last year we went when the DP was free. This year we haven't seen that free DP offered so we're trying to budget accordingly for food for 2adult and 2children(ages 11 & 6).Could you give us an idea of cost per day

Hi Nicole! The best way to know your food costs up front is to purchase the Disney Dining Plan.

If you purchase the Quick Service Dining Plan which allows for two quick service meals per day, you will spend about $35.00 per adult per day and around $12.00 for children. The traditional Disney Dining Plan which gives you a snack, a quick service meal, and a table service meal per person per day runs about $55.00 for adults and $16.00 for children. Remember your eleven year old is considered an adult. If you have cereal or pbj sandwiches in your room for one meal and limit additional snacks you can keep your costs pretty close to this estimate.

If you opt not to participate in the Disney Dining Plan estimate about $200.00 per day for all quick service meals and around $250.00 per day if you eat one table service meal and one or two quick service ones.

Hope this information helps you plan your budget. Remember if free dining is offered after you make your reservations and you qualify, you may add it or any other special offer after you have booked.
