We are planning a WDW vacation for mid September 2008. What is the typical weather for that time. Is it still pretty hot (90s)? I am trying to plan what to pack for two 4 year olds and trying to keep all the bases covered. Thanks

We typically take our family vacations to WDW in September and let me assure you that yes, the weather is still HOT at that time.  I'm thinking the temps are closer to the mid 80's range, but when you factor in the humidity, it can get quite sticky and very, very warm.  I would plan to wear shorts and t-shirts.  And ponchos.  Definitely bring ponchos.  You can count on at the probability of late afternoon thunderstorms in September.  I really don't see a need for sweaters or sweatshirts.  Even when we stay late at the parks for parades or fireworks we've never been even a little bit chilly.  Of course your own tolerances might be different than ours so it wouldn't hurt to bring a light sweater, but like I said, I personally wouldn't need one.  Bring lots of sunscreen and maybe visors to keep the sun out of your eyes.  Hope I've helped!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
