We are planning a WDW vacation for Dec 2018 and want to see all the holiday decorations up and go to all the festivities but come before all the crowds get heavy. What dates are the earliest for all festivities to be going on? Thanks, Kathy

    Hiya Kathy!

Thank you so much for stopping by!  In 2017, Christmas comes to town on November 9 when Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party decks the halls at Magic Kingdom Park.  Once the party starts, the rest of the parks, and resorts, get 'holly jolly' in no time!

If you're planning a holiday around the beginning of December, you'll be able to see Walt Disney World decked out in its holiday best and typically enjoy lower crowd levels than you'll see as you approach the end of the month.

    Have a magical vacation!
