    Hi there! We are planning our WDW vacation in April 2010. Is AK a good resort? Do all rooms have safari views? When is it a good time to book for good travel deals as I don't see any yet for this time of year. Not sure where to begin!

    Hi Stacey!  Animal Kingdom Lodge (AKL) is a beautiful resort!  However, not all the rooms have a savanna room.  If your budget allows, I highly recommend reserving a savanna view room as it's so relaxing to sit  on your balcony and watch the animals.  If your budget doesn't allow a savanna room - don't worry.  There are plenty of savanna viewing locations located throughout AKL on all floors.

    As far as finding deals, I like to keep an eye on mousesavers.com.  If there is a discount related to anything Disney, it's usually posted on this site.  You may want to sign up for the free e-newsletter which will be delivered right to your email inbox.  Most of the discounts for April this year became available in mid-February but I would start keeping a watchful eye out beginning in January.
