planning a WDW Vaca in May 2010!! SUPER EXCITED! We normally stay at POR or POFQ but are considering staying at CBR bc we are bringing my 18mo DS. My question tho is what is the difference between a "preferred room" and "standard room"

    Hi Jessie,

You should be SUPER EXCITED, you're going to Walt Disney World!  I think you have made a fantastic resort choice, the Old Porte Royale feature pool has one of the most amazing toddler splash parks at Walt Disney World!

The difference between the preferred room and standard room is location, location, location!  With a small child, I would opt to splurge on the preferred room.  These rooms are located in the Martinique and Trinidad North sections of this resort and are most convenient to the Old Port Royale Centertown.

Hope this helps, have a great trip!
