Planning a WDW trip with our 4YO, 3YO & other adult family members next summer & working on budget. Need a fun dinner ADR for a non-park day. Having breakfast at Chef Mickey's another day; Rainforest or T-REX too intense for our kids. Thanks!

    Hi Matt!

My top recommendation that is fun for both children and adults is Hoop- Dee- Do Musical Revue located at Fort Wilderness. The dinner show involves a lot of singing, corny jokes and don't be surprised if you might end up performing before the night is through. The food is served family style featuring fried chicken, ribs, corn bread and corn on the cob.  My family always thoroughly enjoys this dinner show.

Whispering Canyon Cafe' is another one of my family's must do locations when visiting Walt Disney World.Located in the Wilderness Lodge, this location features slightly snarky servers and horse races. Beware, if you don't eat your vegetables you may wind up in time out or jail and you must always ask for lots of ketchup. The main feature is the family platter which features some very yummy ribs, chicken steak and fish. The Wilderness Lodge is my absolute favorite Walt Disney World resort so I highly suggest taking an after dinner stroll.

Lastly, but not least is 1900 Park Fare located in the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.In my opinion, this character buffet is one of the best values, dinner features Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizella (which are a hoot). The food is served buffet style, similar to Chef Mickey's, and if you are celebrating anything special I recommend ordering Cinderella's Chocolate Slipper dessert.  This dessert is available by special order and only available to guests dining at Cinderella's Royal Table or a Grand Floridian restaurant.  The slipper is filled with mouse, berries and chocolate shavings, plus you can have a message written in chocolate on the plate itself. The dessert costs $12.50 and can be ordered by calling (407) 824-2578.

I hope this helps and if you need anymore help with your vacation plans you always know where to find me!

    Happy Planning!
