We're planning our 2009 WDW trip. Our 9 & 12 year old boys will be in charge of their own money this trip and we want to give them Disney Gift Cards to purchase their souveniers. Can they use them by themsleves since they're minors? Thanks!!

    Yes!

My son used a Disney Gift card by himself at Walt Disney World on our recent June trip. We sent him to the pool snack bar where he purchased himself (very proudly I might add) a snack. He even had to sign his name on the receipt on the store copy. Then he wrapped our receipt around the card so we would know how much remained on the gift card.

Remind your sons to keep their most recent receipt wrapped around the card and then they'll always know their remaining balance.
