I am planning a WDW trip in a week - we leave Friday. I have been checking the forecast for Orlando and it is supposed to be high 70's, low 80's during our stay. That seems a bit chilly for the water parks - is the water in the water parks heated?

    Hi Doreen!

My son and I just love the two incredible Water Parks at Walt Disney World!  Both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach have heated water in the pools and water slides.  If the temperatures are supposed to be in the high 70's to low 80's during your stay, that is an ideal temperature for enjoying the Water Parks.  You should be warm enough without being too hot and if you feel cool after you leave the water you can always wrap yourself in a towel to warm up. Keep in mind the temperature of the water may actually be warmer than the temperature of the air so the air temperature may feel cooler than it actually is.

I hope that you have a magical time splashing and splashing at a Walt Disney World Water Park!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
