Planning 1st WDW trip! Visiting HS on Sat. 6/19. Won't arrive until 10-11 a.m. Should we save Fantasmic for another trip in order to enjoy TSM and other big rides that night when crowds are smaller? Kids are: ds10, dd8, dd4 (frightens easily), ds3. Thanx!

    Hi Heather!

I can't believe I'm going to say this but you might want to skip Fantasmic. (*gasp*) I adore Fantasmic and it is one of my favorite shows EVER.

But it is scary. My daughter is 4 years old and also frightens easily. When we go to Disney in September we will NOT be going to Fantasmic. It would just be too hard. There is an entire villain song (which includes several costume characters and giant clips from the movies) plus a HUGE dragon from Sleeping Beauty. And fireworks!

And you always have to arrive about an hour early to get a good seat which could also be a challenge with a 3 and 4 year old. I have arrived late to Fantasmic and had to stand in the very back of the stadium and would NOT want to experience that with a 3 and 4 year old!

So, as much as I hate to tell you to stay away from Fantasmic, for me, I'd hit up Toy Story Mania, Muppets and some of the other fun stuff that all of your kids will love!

    Enjoy your vacation!
