We are planning a WDW trip from 6/11-6/21, we will be traveling with a 7 month old. Are the resturants/disney staff helpful when it comes to feeding the infant. For example, getting hot water or warming things up if needed?

    Hello Treair,

Yes!  My experience is that Disney cast members want all guests to have a magical stay - even the littlest ones.  I find that Disney World is one of the easiest places to travel with an infant.  At restaurants, cast members will often allow you to bring your stroller right up to the table if you happen to have a sleeping infant.  They're also helpful when it comes to bringing hot water to the table to warm up formula or baby food.  They've offered to warm up bottles for me, but I've declined preferring to do it myself.

Be sure to check out the baby care centers located in each park.  They have changing areas, high chairs, breast feeding rooms, hot water for warming food, sinks for washing and a room with toys & videos to keep older children occupied while they wait.  They also supply (for a small charge) items that you may have forgotten: formula, diapers, medicines, etc.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
