We are planning a WDW trip for October and staying at Art of Animation. We would like to head over to Downtown Disney the first night to check it out since you don't need a ticket. How do we get over to Downtown Disney from the Art of Animation?

    Hi Melanie!

Wow, it is so exciting that your Walt Disney World vacation is coming up this October! You are going to love staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort! The fastest way that I have found to get to Downtown Disney from the Art of Animation Resort by using the Walt Disney World Transportation System is to take a bus.  There are buses that leave the Art of Animation Resort that take Guests to Downtown Disney approximately every 20 minutes.  When you are done shopping, eating, and having fun at Downtown Disney, then you can take a bus back to the Art of Animation Resort.  It is really easy!

I hope that your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
