Planning a WDW trip in the mid part of December.I want to purchase party tickets in advance.Which day is better Tues15th or Thurs17th?Tues is tempting as they are cheaper but will everyone else have the same idea?Anyone been there at that time?HowCrowded?

    Hi Leanne!

The special ticket parties held at the Magic Kingdom are so much fun and a great way to experience the parks in a new way. You definitely have a good idea when it comes to purchasing your tickets in advance. Since there are a limited amount of tickets available for each night they sometimes sell out in advance.

However, since there are only a certain number of tickets this means that the parties are never over crowded. There are also so many different activities available like dance parties, storytelling, character meets and rides to ride that the guests are pretty evenly distributed throughout the park. You may run into crowds when it comes time to find a spot to view the parade and fireworks, but otherwise I wouldn't worry too much.

I would recommend planning out your days for your entire vacation and buy tickets for whichever party fits into your schedule the best. You may find that there are evening extra magic hours or something else you would like to see like Fantasmic on one of the party nights which may help you to decide.

Whichever night you choose, I hope you have a wonderful time at the party!
