Planning WDW trip june 2020; Staying at Disney Springs hotel; what is best transportation options to parks, also options for early or late in day? And is there a need to have magic bands if not staying on property? If so, what would we use them for? Thanks

    Hi Amy!

June is our favorite month to travel to Walt Disney World Resort and I love that you are in the advanced planning phase of your upcoming vacation!

If you plan to enjoy a stay at one of the Disney Springs Hotels, you will be able to take advantage of the available shuttle service. Shuttle Service is provided from each of the Disney Springs Hotels every 30 minutes to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, Water Parks, and other Disney attractions. The great news is that you have options: You can use the provided shuttle service, or allow the Minnie Van Service to take you where you want to go within the Walt Disney World Resort property or utilize one of the other smartphone ride-share companies.

You will not need a MagicBand as the most benefits of having one in your possession is open to Disney Resort guests, however, if you decide to use one, you can use it for your theme park tickets and FastPass+ selections. You can purchase the MagicBands online at shopDisney, or at one of the many retail locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

    Have a magical vacation!
