    Hi Mom's, we are planning a wdw trip followed by a DCL in March 2011...So Excited! I need to know how long it will take to travel from the Contemporary to Port, then Port to Orlando airport. I need to know prior to booking my flights. Thanks in advance

    Hi Maureen,

    You should be excited - a land and sea combination is the ultimate Disney vacation!  If you are using the DCL ground transfers to the port, I would plan on a 90-minute trip.  The port is about 60 minutes from Walt Disney World, however I add a little time because your motorcoach may be picking up at more than one Disney resort.

    Travel time back to Orlando International Airport from Port Canaveral is about 45-60 minutes.  The transfer service commences shortly after debarkation (which is normally around 7:30 a.m.).  To be a bit conservative, I would assume the bus may not leave port until 8:30 or so.
