Planning WDW trip at Easter. Any updates on reopening of Typhoon Lagoon? Staying in resort with 14 day park pass, so do we have to pay extra for water parks? Book them in advance? Thank you x

Hiya, Claire! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you've stopped by with such great holiday planning questions. Chatting Disney with my pals is my favorite!

Before you know it, you'll be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth, ready to begin your most magical spring adventure. How exciting! I absolutely love visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the spring, and I actually have a trip planned at the same time as you! With the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival in full bloom and weather warm enough to splash around the water parks and take midday poolside cocktail breaks from the theme parks, it's the practically perfect time to visit. Now, let's get your loose planning ends tied up so you can sit back, relax and start your pixie-dusted countdown!

If you have a 14-Day Magic Ticket, I think you will be happy to hear that your ticket includes admission to the water parks, as well as Disney's Oak Trail Golf course and the miniature golf courses. BEST. NEWS. EVER! However, since I don't know exactly what ticket you have, I do recommend that you check the terms and conditions of your ticket to be sure.

And the good news just keeps coming, Claire! No Theme Park Reservations are required at this time to visit the water parks, so you can just show up at the water park with your park admission and sense of wet and wild adventure. This way, you can keep an eye on the weather and head to the water park on the warmest and sunniest spring days. Don't forget your sunscreen or sunglasses!

While I have not heard any news on the reopening of Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries." Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is currently open and ready for frosty fun and chillin'! I recommend keeping an eye on the Typhoon Lagoon webpage and the Disney Parks Blog for news on its reopening as soon as it drops. Happy splashin'!

I hope this was helpful, Claire, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable upcoming spring holiday! I'll see you in the parks! Please feel free to stop by any time with any planning questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon,

    Mandy
