    Planning our WDW trip for 4/25-30 with 3 yo daughter. We currently have reservations for Akershaus, Cinderella's Table, Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare (dinner). I was thinking about changing the Park fare to Crystal palace. Which is better? Suggestion

    You're in for a fantastic trip to Walt Disney World, that's for certain!

    Regarding dining plans, you have a few things to consider before deciding to switch from 1900 Park Fare to The Crystal Palace: characters, food options and location.

    Characters-You'll see Mickey and friends, as well as princesses, at your other dining locations.  Is your little one a fan of Winnie the Pooh? If so, Crystal Palace it is.  If she'd like to meet Prince Charming and members of Cinderella's family, then 1900 Park Fare.  If it's a toss up, then proceed onto another category!

    Food options-Both are buffet-style; both offer similar options as well. There is a non-Disney website, allearsnet.com, which lists typical food offerings at both restaurants (just select "Walt Disney World", then "Dining" and you'll see both "Magic Kingdom" and "Resort Hotels" listed on the left. For an UNOFFICIAL idea of the items often served at both locations, take a look there; perhaps some items on one menu might push you in one direction over the other.  If you like to have an adult beverage with your meal, however, you cannot do so at a restaurant within Magic Kingdom Park.

    Location-There IS something to be said for being able to remain in the park for a very nice meal.  While a quick monorail ride to 1900 Park Fare would not take long from MK (a bit longer from Epcot), if you plan on being in MK on the day in question, you'll also save a bit of the commute time by eating at The Crystal Palace.

    We've eaten several times at both locations, and truly enjoyed them thoroughly. Thus, I suggest you find one or two things about one which tip the scales in its favor, and go there.

    Regardless, you won't be disappointed!
