Howdy Sarah!!! I'm so glad you are planning to attend one of the tours and meet with a Disney Vacation Club Guide!!
You will need to plan about 90 minutes for your session. I know that seems long but you will love every minute of the experience.
When you enter the DVC Welcome Center, you will be checked in and will have an opportunity to enjoy a beverage and light snack. From there, you will be able to check your 6 year old into the kid center. It's like going to camp. There are video games, books, toys and countless other items that will delight all ages. I wish I could have gone in and played!
We met with our Guide this past May. We have two VERY SHY little ones (6 and 4). They stayed with us and did just fine. Our Guide gave each of them a coloring book and some colors and they were set. During the session, we all toured the models and this was a highlight of our visit!! The last stop on every tour is an area where you can sit as a family and enjoy a scoop of ice cream!! It's such a great experience.
You are going to love learning about the
Disney Vacation Club!! You will find a sales experience like no other. It's not a high pressure sales pitch. The Guides explain how Membership works and let you decide if it's a good fit for your family. The Guides at DVC not only want to share all that a DVC Membership has to offer but they also want to ensure that everyone in your party is comfortable and has an enjoyable time. If your 6 year old gets a little restless, I'm sure your Guide will have little Disney magic that will turn boredom into excitement!
Thanks so much for your question and please let me know if you have any questions regarding DVC. We have been Members since 1997 and have experienced virtually everything DVC has to offer. I would love to share anything with you I can. Thanks again and have a magical day!!
