Hi moms! Planning 1st WDW trip 9/6-9/12. Arriving @ 4:30p.m. using ME staying @ POP. Having trouble deciding what to do when we get there? Not sure what we will have time for. Thanks, this panel has been so helpful !!

    Hi Lori,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  Based on your arrival time, I would expect that you should arrive at your room around 6:00 P.M.  Many of the Moms I know like to make every attempt to get to a theme park on the first day, regardless of what time they arrive, however I'm probably not the norm.  I prefer to grab a bite to eat, unpack and then spend some time at the pool for an evening swim.  After a busy day of travel it's nice to get to bed at a reasonable hour so we can get up early and get going on our first full day at Walt Disney World.

Just in case you are the adventurous type, the Magic Kingdom will be having extra magic hours on your arrival day and therefore will be open until midnight.

    Hope this helps!
