Hi, Claire! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
Your magical
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is only a couple of months away. You must be getting so excited! I'm glad to hear that you're thinking about which
restaurants you'd like to experience since you'll be able to make those reservations soon. Dining reservations can be made 60 days in advance. If you're staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you'll be able to make your dining reservations for the length of your stay (up to ten days) as soon as your trip countdown reaches 60 days from your arrival at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
I think it is a great idea to take the
entertainment schedule into consideration when making your dining reservations. Walt Disney World Resort's
parades and
nighttime spectaculars are not to be missed! Unfortunately, it is sometimes hard to predict when the entertainment schedules will be updated. If the showtimes for your trip dates are not yet listed when it comes time for you to make your dining reservations, I would recommend making an educated guess based on the schedule for the weeks and days leading up to your visit. If you would happen to have a scheduling conflict with your dining reservations, no worries. Dining reservations can be modified or even canceled up to two hours before the reservation time without penalty.
Claire, you chose the perfect week to visit Walt Disney World Resort! My favorite nighttime spectacular,
Happily Ever After is returning to Magic Kingdom Park on April 3, 2023. Also, April 4, 2023 marks the opening of
TRON Lightcycle/Run at Magic Kingdom Park. Be sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for information on how you can experience this eagerly anticipated new attraction.
Wishing you a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Samantha
