    Planning a WDW trip in April 2014 with husband, 9 & 6 yr old. Will be making ADRs for a few character meals but would like to be a little more spontaneous with the remaining table service meals on our DDP. How possible is it to get seats without ADRs

    Hi Dianne!

    I'd definitely make dining reservations for those 'must dine' places on your list.  It can be difficult to get into many of the more popular options.  If you're planning your vacation around Easter, I would expect it to be busier, and in turn, a bit more difficult to get day-of or walk up reservations. 

    For my money, I always book my Dining Reservations ahead of time so that I know I'm getting the most bang for my buck, as you can always run the risk of having unused entitlements remaining at the end of your vacation.

    If you're flexible in your dining times, you'll have better luck securing those last minute reservations.  Late lunches, early dinners usually afford you more options.
