We are now planning on going to WDW the end of Oct or first of Nov. Would it be better to book through Disney or AAA and which month would be the least crowded? We are 2 adults, 56 and 57 and so excited as this will be our first trip to Magic Kingdom.

    HI Linda!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Generally speaking that is a great time of year to go, especially in terms of the weather and the crowds.  It should be much cooler than summer and the crowds historically then are low to medium.  With respect to the crowds, there isn't much difference between the two weeks.

If you book with AAA, you can generally get a discount and some AAA specific perks.  One that I like, if you will be driving, is an AAA diamond card that lets you park very close to the front of each theme park.  You can only get it it by booking with AAA directly.  However, you can generally get an AAA discount by booking with Disney directly and stating that you are a member.

To help you decide on which way to go, you might want to visit the independent website MouseSavers.com.  There you will other money saving strategies and tips including the latest discounts Disney is offering directly.  It's one of the first places I go to when planning my own Disney vacation.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
