Hi We are planning to be out WDW for our daughters 10th Birthday, do you have any suggestions for where would be the best table service restaurant to book for dinner on her birthday? I would really like it to be somewhere where characters are.

    Hi there, Helen!

Your daughter will actually have any number of choices for character dining. Really, it all depends upon her favorite characters.

If she is a devoted fan of the Fab Five - Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto - there is Chef Mickey's, located inside Disney's Contemporary Resort. This delicious buffet features the whole gang in their kitchen best.

But if Princesses are more her style, consider Princess Storybook Dining in Akershus (because this is in Epcot, separate Park admission will be required). The atmosphere is wonderfully castle-y, and if she has an adventurous palate, the regional Norwegian cuisine will be a fun experience.

At Disney's Grand Floridian, Cinderella, Prince Charming, and others grace dinnertime at 1900 Park Fare, Again, this buffet offers a great deal of time for each family to spend with the characters.

Finally, for a splash, check out the ultimate in Princess elegance: Cinderella's Royal Table, located inside Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom (a separate admission is required). The elegant meal is presided over by Fairy Godmother, and a variety of surprises and treats await at this prix-fixe event.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
