We are planning on going to WDW for the 2013 Christmas holiday season. What I would like to know is some tips on celebrating on Christmas Day and New Years Eve. Is there a special restaurant in the Magic Kingdom for New Years Eve? Thank you!

Hello and welcome to the Moms Panel!

I personally enjoy spending both Christmas and New Year's Day at the Magic Kingdom!  It will be decked out with everything Christmas from corner-to-corner and wall-to-wall. You will want to capture the beautiful parades and fireworks on both of these days.  First rule, should you decide to spend either of these two days at the Magic Kingdom, I would get there at the park's scheduled opening time and stay there.  Should the parks reach capacity, they will no longer allow guests to enter for safety reasons.  You will be traveling during a very busy time and these two days are EXTREMELY busy.

As for dining, I am a HUGE fan of the Liberty Tree Tavern and the Crystal Palace, both of which are located inside the Magic Kingdom. The food is delicious!  You will want to make sure you set your reservations early in order to guarantee a spot at one of these popular restaurants.

Please come and join us again should any new questions or concerns pop-up. We are always ready to help. Oh, great job at starting your planning early. This is the best way to ensure a most MAGICAL vacation!

~Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON"!~
