I am planning a WDW August 2024 vacation with my DVC membership. What options do I have to purchase park tickets with my membership?

Welcome Home, Patricia! Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Vacation Club corner of planDisney. It's the best day ever anytime I get to make the acquaintance of a fellow DVC Member, and I'm delighted to help explore some exclusive options for your upcoming August adventures.

There are as many benefits of DVC membership as there are spots on the 101 Dalmatians! I always take a deep dive into the Member Benefits site before any Walt Disney World Resort vacation so I'm up to date on all the latest discounts and deals. On our most recent trip, we used our membership for discounts at multiple restaurants, including our all-time favorite, Beaches and Cream Soda Shop. I also picked up some great finds at Kendra Scott and Basin at Disney Springs with a DVC discount!

Patricia, there are not currently any discounted multi-day tickets for the four Walt Disney World theme parks. However, DVC Members can purchase the Sorcerer Pass--this is a deeply discounted Annual Pass and a really great deal if you plan to visit more than once a year. To see the Sorcerer Pass as an option for purchase, make sure you are signed into your My Disney Experience account.

Since you'll be visiting in summer, I recommend checking out another very cool Member benefit that's currently offered--discounted tickets to the Disney Water Parks! Our family loves to take a break from the theme parks to cool off at these amazing aquatic playgrounds. I really can't pick a favorite--Teamboat Springs at Disney's Blizzard Beach is one of my top Walt Disney World attractions, and the Surf Pool at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is so much fun!

During your travels from Louisiana, I'm sure you'll be delighted to see a slice of home at Tiana's Bayou Adventure, scheduled to open this summer. I'm so excited to experience this attraction featuring one of our favorite Disney Princesses--and as a bonus, it's a water attraction sure to help you cool off on a hot day at Magic Kingdom Park! Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the announcement of the official opening date.

For one final tip for keeping cool on your August trip, look no further than the Member Lounge at EPCOT, located in the Imagination! Pavilion. This is a perfect spot to take a midday break, enjoy some complimentary snacks and drinks, and talk strategy for the rest of your Disney day.

Patricia, I hope this is just the information you need for your planning purposes! Your trip will be here before you know it, and I'm sure it will be practically perfect. If I can help with any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out directly

    Stay Magical!
