We are planning on watching the fireworks at the Polynesian the night before we check in to our Disney Resort. We are staying at the Holiday Inn by Disney Springs. How late do the buses run to Disney Springs from the Polynesian?

Aloha Patrick, I'm happy to welcome you to planDisney!

There's really nothing like experiencing that special slice of paradise that we call Disney's Polynesian Village Resort (and frequent fans may affectionately refer to as "the Poly") and it seems to be very popular for folks and families alike seeking those balmy island vibes to dine on some delicious tropical delights at locations like 'Ohana before sticking around to see the night sky light up with fireworks.

    • I've personally frequently taken advantage of the bus service late in the evening and while it may always be subject to availability that can change without prior notice, you should be able to make it back to Disney Springs that night - just like so many locals do while leaving their cars there before having dinner at a Disney Resort Hotel location. That said, we have also experienced times when buses may seemingly never show up or take an extended amount of time beyond their scheduled arrival on the digital signage, so don't hesitate to ask another driver for help just in case you may be stranded. (In the end, it might be a good idea to factor in the cost of scheduling a ride through an app like using Minnie Van Service just in case, though in my opinion you shouldn't need to.)
I hope that this was helpful to you Patrick - with the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival in full swing during your visit, I hope that you get a chance to enjoy some incredible Disney Eats and a lot of treats while you're here!

Wishing you the safest and swiftest journeys back after dark!
