We are planning to watch Fantasmic at 8 p.m. and then move on to Sci-fi dine in at 8:55p.m. How long does it take to go from the theater to the dine-in? Also, in any park, how long does it take to walk from one end to the other without stopping? Thanks!

Hi ya, Chitra! Sounds like a fun night. Having a good pair of walking shoes is important when going to Disney World. There's a lot of walking. In fact, I like telling myself that all the walking directly cancels out any calorie intake throughout the day. Uh huh.

To hoof it from Fantasmic to Sci-Fi, I'd plan on it taking 20-30 minutes. If you can skirt around the crowd when exiting, you'll be able to make a more significant dent in the time it takes to get from one to the other.

The time it takes to go from the back of one park to the front of it can vary greatly. I'd ballpark it to take a half hour, and if it takes less time than that, then you have some extra time on your hands. Crowds and entertainment while en route can slow you down significantly. Epcot is going to be the longest walk, going from the back of World Showcase all the way up to the opposite end of Futureworld. It will take more effort to make that 30 minute guideline, although if you do make it, I think that allows you to eat (and cancel out) another snack!
