We are planning a Walt Disney World vacation for my daughters 5 year birthday and have a question about the dining plans. If the allotment is one table service per night can we order any entre on the menu or is there a different menu for the dining plan?

Hello Bill! Thanks so much for your great question. I took my son for his 5th birthday last year and we also took advantage of the dining plan. You can actually use your Table Service Credits in any way you like. Say for instance you have 5 Table Service Credits, 5 Quick Service Credits and 5 Snack Credits each for the duration of your trip. You can divide it up to where you use a Table Service, a Quick Service and a Snack Credit each day, or you can switch it up and use two Table Service Credits on one day and two Quick Service Credits on another day. Or you can use all of your Snack Credits in one day. It is customizable to an extent, and is up to you how you divide the credits.

There is not a separate menu for the dining plan. If you are dining at a restaurant where you order al a carte, you can pick from the entrees choices on the regular menu. On many occasions I ordered the most expensive steak just because I knew it would be absolutely delicious and the Dining Plan would cover it. Of course, once you are seated your server can answer any more questions about the menu and what would be included in your specific dining plan. You will typically get to choose one non-alcoholic beverage, an entree, and a dessert.

Please let us know if there is anything else that we can do for you. Have a magical Walt Disney World Vacation!

    Bon Appetit!
