Planning to be at Walt Disney World March 1-5. What kind of clothes should I be packing for that time of year? We live in WY so I'm clueless as to what I should really expect weather-wise! :)

    Hi Kaycee!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting that your trip countdown is in the double digits!

My family loved our early March trip to Walt Disney World because of the cool mornings and evenings and bright, sunny days. My suggestion is to pack lots of layers. Most days we were wearing shorts or capri pants and t-shirts, with a hoodie or cardigan on top in the early mornings or evenings. March can still be pretty variable in Florida, so be sure to bring long pants and long-sleeved tops along with your warm-weather clothes to be sure you’re covered! And, of course, let the weather forecast guide you as you get down to those exciting final days before your trip.

Disney’s attire guidelines provide helpful guidance as you make your packing list. Don’t forget the accessories: a hat and sunscreen to keep you protected from the strong Florida sunshine, and a water bottle, as I find we get really thirsty in the parks. I also like to bring at least two pairs of shoes and extra socks so I can keep my feet dry and comfortable after long days of walking. If you’re looking for some flair, make sure to stop by any of the shops in the parks and resorts to pick up your Minnie ear headband. I don’t leave for Disney without mine!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
