Hi! We’re planning Walt Disney World in August 2027 and have some questions: - When are the Halloween event dates usually announced? And when are tickets available? - Based on previous years, is a summer offer likely again, and when are these released?

    Hi Lonneke,

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party question! How fun that you’ll be visiting right around the start of spooky season at Disney World. It is truly one of my favorite times of year. I love walking down Main Street and seeing all of the pumpkins, fall garland, and those little Halloween touches everywhere you look.

Now, Disney can always change things from year to year, but I can tell you that this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates were announced in April. That doesn't guarantee next year’s announcement will happen at the same time, but I would definitely start keeping an eye out around then. Once Disney announced this year's party dates, it also shared when tickets would go on sale. When tickets do become available, you can purchase them on the Disney World website or through the My Disney Experience app.

In past years, we have also seen Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begin in early August. Again, though, there are no guarantees that next year will follow the same schedule. We really won’t know for sure until Disney makes the official announcement.

Another place to keep an eye on is the Disney Parks blog; they always have the latest on the newest dates.

I do hope the dates line up with your trip, because this party is such a fun way to kick off spooky season! Between trick-or-treating around Magic Kingdom, watching Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, and spotting some of your favorite characters dressed in their Halloween best, there is so much to enjoy.

Lonneke, I hope this helps give you a better idea of when to start watching for those party dates. If you have any additional questions as you plan your visit, please feel free to visit us again.

    See you real soon,

    Christina
