    Hi, we are planning on visting Disney Nov 13-17, and want to stay near Magic Kingdom. I have a 6yr old princess. Does WDW offer any specials on the Polynesian, Contemporary or the Floridan? I priced out the non-discounted for us and it is quite pricey!

    Staying close to Magic Kingdom with your young Princess is a great plan. Keep an eye on the Special Offers page of the Walt Disney World website as well as the Disney Parks Blog for announcements of the latest offers as they become available. There can indeed be specials offered for these wonderful, deluxe properties, particularly during less-busy times of year.

    I'd love to offer you an alternate suggestion as well ... Have you checked out Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort? Although not on the Magic Kingdom monorail, this fantastic resort is actually quite close to Magic Kingdom Park and just a short, magical boat ride away! It's a great alternative to consider and a little bit more budget friendly for those who want to be close to all of the magic! It's tucked into beautiful, tall trees, just across Bay Lake from Disney's Contemporary Resort. With a fantastic pool with water slide, kids' club, great dining and a fabulous beach and evening activities for the whole family, it has quickly become one of my family's favourite resorts!
