We are planning on visiting WDW in September. My 4 year old daughter is afraid of the evil queen from Snow White. Does she ever appear at WDW and if so, where? Would like to avoid her if possible. Thanks.

    Hi Amy,

Psst, I have a confession to make. I, too, am a bit scared of the Evil Queen! Even as an adult, I never enjoyed riding Snow White's Scary Adventures (no longer open).

Other than in parades, I personally have never seen her around the parks. Trust me, I would remember! However, I recently viewed a video online of a girl talking to her outside the castle. It appeared to be in Disneyland, but character meet and greets are always changing. The best way to know what characters will be around and where is by using the My Disney Experience mobile app. This official app offers many planning tools including interactive maps and up-to-the-minute wait times for attractions. You can also use it to pull up character meet and greets at all the parks. Almost always, these meet and greets are accessed by a line of guests, but every once in awhile you will see one roaming through the crowds. I'm sorry to be vague, but I just can't guarantee that she will never be available. I would venture to guess that if she ever was around, it would be in Fantasyland. The only other time I could think of that she might be out more frequently would be during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, when many villians appear.

It is totally natural for kids to be anxious and the characters are great at reading the situation.

I hope you have an Evil Queen-free visit and tons of other pixie-dusted fairy tale moments!
