I am planning on visiting WDW on the 9th of February for a few days with my family and was wondering if you could make any suggestions on what to do with a 2 year old. Also should be expect crazy crowds? We are planning to check out on Valentine's day.

    Hi Elizabeth!

There are tons of things to do with a 2 year old!  My daughter is 1 1/2 and I also have a 4 year old that has been visiting all his life.  The Magic Kingdom is my number one park for small children.  There are the most attractions and shows for the little ones to enjoy with their families.  Check out the Attractions page for the Magic Kingdom on the Walt Disney World website.  At the top, you can filter by your child's height and it will populate all the attractions that are the right size for him.  Attractions that say "Any Height" are perfect for any age, any height.

Animal Kingdom is also a fun park for small children.  My kids love wandering around and looking at the animals.  There are some fun attractions in Dinoland for them as well as my favorite, Kilimanjaro Safaris that is a hit with my son.  The shows here are also spectacular!

Have you looked into dining?  Character dining at Walt Disney World is usually the highlight of our trip.  My son loves dining with his favorite Disney pals, especially at Chef Mickey's where he can see Mickey, Goofy and the rest of the gang.  If you haven't already done so, reservations are highly recommended.  You can call (407) WDW-DINE for reservations or book online.

    Have a magical day!
