Hello, we are planning on visiting WDW in December a week before Star Wars opens in theaters and are HUGE Star Wars fans. Will there be anything special happening at any of the parks in Florida???? We will only have time for two parks...

Hello, Deb! I am visiting at the same time and I can't wait to see if anything special will be planned. As of right now I have not seen or heard of anything, but I know that with previous movie premieres there have been fun opportunities set up. For example, the Disney Parks Blog did an advanced screening of Inside Out where there was a character meet and greet and other photo ops. Joy and Sadness were there for the movie and my fingers are crossed that something like this will be done for the new Star Wars film. Keep checking back in with the Disney Parks Blog as December 18th draws nearer to see if there will be a special Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens event.

In the meantime, have you heard about the highly exciting Star Wars- themed lands that are coming to Walt Disney World? The concept art looks absolutely amazing and I can't wait to be able to actually walk through the lands and experience it all.

If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to ask. Have a magical day!
