Planning on visiting WDW in Dec. 2009. Currently booked at CBR, have stayed there previously. Would another mod. resort be more suitable for our family? It will be myself, my wife & 2 yr. old daughter. Using DDP, won't be using WDW transportation. Than

    Hi John,

Since you've stayed at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort on a previous visit, you must know how great of a resort it is.  In case you haven't heard, they recently renovated their Old Port Royale main theme pool.  I got a chance to check it out, and think it would be any kids dream pool!  One of the best places to see pictures is www.allearsnet.com just look under accommodations and you'll see this resort listed, and it has plenty of pictures.  With the newly completed renovations, they have the best toddler swim/play pool area that I've seen on Walt Disney World property.

In the event the pool isn't one of the deciding factors for you, I would also highly recommend Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.  This is probably my favorite moderate.  Like the Caribbean Beach Resort, Coronado Springs is quite large so you'll appreciate having your own transportation.  The resort is very beautiful, and the pools and playgrounds were highlights for my little ones.  I prefer the expanse of the resort, you won't at all feel crowded and it is great for walking and picture taking.

Either way you are in for a great trip, two is a really fun age!
