I am planning on visiting WDW in August 2012 and would like to know which Disney hotel you would recommend? I have narrowed my choice down to the Old Key West Resort and the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

    Hi Mark,

If money is no object, then I would go with the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Situated amidst a 43-acre wildlife preserve, this Resort hotel offers authentic African-inspired architecture and design. It really is a one-of-a-kind setting offering an expansive view of the savanna and its many animal inhabitants.

That said, for the past few years there have been some amazing offers on the UK version of the Walt Disney World website for UK Guests staying at Old Key West or Saratoga Springs which you can see HERE. Did you also know that UK Guests travelling in August 2012 can dine for FREE if you book your holiday by 30 November 2011? This is a truly FANTASTIC offer!

My family stayed at Old Key West in 2009 and thought that it was a very beautiful, relaxing Resort to head back to after a busy day at the parks with lots of great amenities.

I hope that this information has been of help. Please feel free to ask another question if we can be of any further help.

    Wishing you a magical trip!
