Hi, Were are planning on visiting WDW on April 25-May 3rd. My son will be turning 3 yrs old during our trip (May 1st), will I need to purchase a ticket for him? If not, will I need to provide proof of age?

    Hi Luisa!

I just confirmed this question for another guest a couple of weeks ago and the official answer is that if your child is two at the start of your vacation and turning three while on your trip, they will not need a ticket.  I have never ever been questioned for my children's ages.  I did ask this question to a Cast Member at the turnstile when my son was 2 (he was really tall for his age, so I was worried I would be questioned), and he told me I shouldn't ever need to bring documentation to prove his age.

    Have a fantastic birthday trip!
