    Teresa from CA Asked

We are planning on visiting, but want to wait until June 15, once the state of CA reopens with new guidelines. If we purchase tickets now & then decide we are not ready to visit, can we move our reservations to another date in the fall?

    Hi Teresa,

It's great to hear you're planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort!

Purchasing tickets and making reservations for the theme parks is really simple and convenient. When you purchase theme park tickets, you'll be guided through the whole process to make your selections. You'll be prompted to select your tickets, select the number of days you want to visit the theme parks, select the number of tickets for your group, and select your ticket type (One Park Per Day or Park Hopper). You'll then be prompted to reserve your ticket dates to make your theme park reservations.

Teresa, one helpful note about theme park reservations is that reservations can't be modified.  In your case,  if you make your theme park reservations and then decide to visit at a later date, you could cancel your reservations through your "My Theme Park Reservations" page and then make new reservations. You'd want to take a look at the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see when the parks have reservations available for the dates you want to visit.

Teresa, there's lots of magic awaiting you at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog to stay up to date on all that's new and exciting. If you're looking for suggestions on what to see and do, just come back and ask us here at planDisney. We're here for you and happy to help.

Here's wishing you a wonderful trip to the Disneyland Resort!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
