We are planning on visiting 10/17 & I have 2 questions. Q1 - I have 3 ticket cards from 2008. Do I need to trade them in for the Magic Bands? Q2 - We will be there for my 50th. Is there anything special I should ask for?

    Hi Lauren,

Glad to know you will be celebrating your 50th at Walt Disney World Resort. How exciting! So let me give you some tips so you have the most magical vacation.

Unexpired Theme Park Tickets will remaining days will continue to be honored. Since your tickets are from 2008, as long as they had the No Expiration Option added, you may want to contact Guest Relations at the entrance of any Theme Park or calling (407) 939-1289, as you may need to exchange them for new media. Be sure to read this Frequently Asked Question.

MagicBands are great invention. They hold your Theme Park Tickets, your FastPass+ reservations, and if you stay at a Disney Resort hotel, they will be the keys to your room. As one of the many Disney Resort Hotel Guest Benefits, Guests receive a complimentary MagicBand, however you can also purchase one with many fun designs. Then simply Link your Reservations and Purchases to your My Disney Experience account.

One last tip: be sure to note your celebration when you make any dining reservations, and get a celebratory button so you can be acknowledged. Simply ask any Cast Member throughout the Resort. Happy planning!
