We are planning on visiting the park on November 13th. Will the park be open regular hours ? Will all attractions be open ? When is the christmas theme begin?

Greetings, Miguel, and welcome to planDisney! The countdown to your November visit to the Disneyland Resort is on. The details for your trip will come down to timing – let's get into it!

Miguel, you'll be visiting the day before the holiday season kicks off at the Disneyland Resort. On November 14, 2025, Mickey and his pals will debut their holiday outfits, shows such as A Christmas Fantasy Parade will begin, and other seasonal fun will be available. However, when you are at the park the day before, you are likely to notice some holiday merchandise available, garland and wreaths all around, and snow on Sleeping Beauty Castle. And Haunted Mansion Holiday should also be accepting ghoulish visitors, as it will debut with Halloween Time and remain through the holiday season.

I love that you are planning ahead, Miguel, but it's a little early to know the park hours, showtimes, and attraction refurbishments for November. Generally, that information is added to the Disneyland website and mobile app up to six weeks in advance on a rolling basis. I suggest checking the Hours & Events Calendar at the start of October to see the details for your mid-November trip.

Miguel, if you decide you want to slightly push out your visit by one day or more, to have a chance to see everything at the Resort during the holiday season, you can certainly adjust your reservations. Just keep in mind, however, that depending on the date you want to switch to, it may be necessary to upgrade to a higher tier of ticket. To do that, you'd apply the amount of your wholly unused ticket towards the purchase of a new ticket for your desired visit date, as long as the new ticket purchase price is equal to or greater than the amount you originally paid.

Of course, if you decide to still visit on your original date, you'll still have plenty to do and see. Just wait until early October to check that calendar for details on what to expect. Here are some of my favorite things to do, in case you want to add them to your plans:

    • Get to the parks ahead of the opening time so you're all scanned in and inside the park for "Rope Drop"
    • Have a Mickey Mouse Waffle
    • Watch the Disneyland Band perform
    • Enjoy a Dole Whip in the Enchanted Tiki Room
    • Walk through Sleeping Beauty Castle
    • Ride one of the vehicles on Main Street, U.S.A.
    • Take photos with Mickey and his pals
    • Visit PhotoPass locations to take a few photos together
    • Explore Tom Sawyer Island
    • Make reservations for a nice sit-down meal (or mobile order from a quick service spot for something faster)
Miguel, I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue planning. If you have any other questions ahead of your trip, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
