Welcome to planDisney, Marlene!
Thank you for stopping by with your very first question. You have come to the right place for tips and advice to plan a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! I am sorry to hear about your knee, and I am sending pixie dust for a speedy recovery!
Disability Access Service (DAS) is a great program created to accommodate Guests who have difficulty waiting for extended periods in a conventional queue environment due to a disability. You can pre-register online with a Cast Member from the comfort of your home via live video chat before your visit. During the chat, you can work with the Cast Member to select up to 2 one-hour return windows using the new
DAS advance planning option. On the day of your visit, you will also be able to make additional selections using the
My Disney Experience app.
Please note that the Guest requesting DAS must be present during the registration call and when redeeming a DAS return time at the parks. All park visits must be within 30 to 2 days of the live chat. Please visit
Guest Relations locations at all four theme parks if you decide to register when you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort. For your convenience, wheelchairs, and ECVs are available for rent at the theme parks if you require further assistance.
I hope this information is helpful, Marlene! Come back to visit us if you have additional questions, we are delighted to help!
Best Disney wishes,
Thiana
