Hi, we are planning on visiting next year from the 22nd of April for 3 weeks. My daughter will turn 3 on the 2nd of May. Will I need to buy a ticket for her for the whole trip or just for the period after her birthday? Thanks

    Hi Victoria,

What a great way to celebrate your daughter's birthday! The good news is that, because she will be 2 at the start of your Walt Disney World vacation, she will be considered 2 for your whole visit. So no need to buy a ticket or a meal plan for her. She will get free admission to the parks and will be able to eat free at the buffets and, as long as she shares with others in your party, at the table service restaurants.

Make sure she gets a free Happy Birthday button at your resort or at Guest Relations. She will get lots of birthday wishes from cast members and other guests -- and sometimes a magical surprise or two as well.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let us know if we can help in any other way as you plan your visit. Enjoy!
