Planning on visiting next September and really want to be a part of the Halloween/Fall festivities. Do they decorate the parks for Halloween in September or only in October? We really don't want to miss it!

    Hi Savannah,

You are in luck! The first Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party typically happens in early September. This year it actually occurs on September 1! The Magic Kingdom will be covered in beautiful, fun decorations for the festive fall season.  If it fits in your budget, I highly recommend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. There is great fun for the whole family. Even if you don't plan on attending the party, you can still enjoy the park dressed in it's fall finery!

If you are at the parks later in September, keep a lookout for the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. The World Showcase is covered with food marketplaces from a variety of regions and countries. To give you an idea of when the festival might start next year, this year's Festival starts on September 19.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
