We are planning on visiting Magic Kingdom Halloween weekend & I was curious if the standard day ticket covers the Halloween party as well? I just want to make sure we wouldn't be required to leave or purchase another ticket when the party starts.

    Hi Sabrina!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so happy to help you plan your Halloween trip to Magic Kingdom. I think it is the perfect place to celebrate autumn and Halloween with the amazing decorations, special treats and beautiful weather! On select evenings during September and October, Magic Kingdom hosts Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This separately ticketed event includes special treats, amazing entertainment, trick-or-treating and so much more fun for the entire family. The party is a rare opportunity to see grim grinning ghosts along Main Street U.S.A, watch as the Sanderson Sisters and the Disney Villains take over the Cinderella Castle Forecourt stage and experience some extra special encounters with your favorite Disney Characters!

This year, the dates for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party include October 27, 28, 30 and 31 of Halloween weekend. So if you are planning on enjoying Magic Kingdom on October 29, 2016, which is not a party date, you will be able to enjoy the fall decorations at Magic Kingdom and your standard theme park tickets will allow you to enjoy the park for the entire day and evening. However, if you are planning on enjoying Magic Kingdom on a day that includes Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you will need a standard theme park ticket for the morning and afternoon and then separate Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets to enjoy the party. At 7:00 p.m. when the party starts, Guests who do not have party wrist bands will be directed to the theme park exit. However you plan to enjoy Magic Kingdom, it will be a wonderful destination for your fall vacation!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
